CORRECTIONAL COUNSELOR II (SUPERVISOR)
Job Description and Duties
The Correctional Counselor II, Supervisor (CC II), under the supervision of the Captain, AI, assigns and reviews the work of Correctional Counselor I’s within the program unit, evaluates staff performance and takes or recommends appropriate action. The CC II will provide casework services to selected incarcerated persons and may carry a reduced caseload.

- Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.
- Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
