About the role
This position will be assigned to the C&PR Office and will ensure the preparation of cases and the classification of incarcerated persons with respect to BPH processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of cases for Board of Parole Hearings (BPH) processes.
- Perform peace officer duties as required.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within the department, other governmental agencies, health care partners, and communities.
Requirements
Minimum qualifications include:
- Completion of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- One year of experience in a correctional setting or related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Qualifications
Additional qualifications include:
- Eligibility for a Training and Development assignment.
- Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
