Corporate Wings, a distinguished boutique-style aircraft management company, is seeking an Aircraft Director of Maintenance (ADOM) to join our dynamic team at our Management Headquarters located at Cuyahoga County Airport in Richmond Heights, Ohio.

About the role

The Aircraft Director of Maintenance is a critical role within Corporate Wings, providing technical support and ensuring the airworthiness of a dedicated Gulfstream G650 (Global XRS). This position will interact with the Lead Captain and Client Service Manager(s) to ensure there are no owner schedule disruptions. The dedicated aircraft will be based out of KDAL (Dallas Love Field) and operate approximately 400 hours per year. This position reports to the Lead Captain.

The ADOM is expected to live by Corporate Wings’ three fundamental principles: Employees are the foundation of a service organization; fanatical attention to detail; and making decisions with long-term relationships in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service.
  • Ensure the aircraft remains safe and airworthy in compliance with CFR 135 operating rules per the certificate holder’s General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
  • Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance tasks requested through work orders.
  • Supervise and perform aircraft maintenance on the assigned aircraft.
  • Direct the work of outside maintenance contractors and vendors.
  • Develop, track, and meet capital and expense budgets for projects, services, and flight operations.
  • Review and approve maintenance-related invoices from vendors.
  • Supervise maintenance planning for upcoming maintenance events.
  • Order parts for current and upcoming maintenance events.
  • Perform duties as a Maintenance Technician.
  • Support flight operations before and after flights as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience with high-performance turbine aircraft.
  • Experience with Gulfstream aircraft, preferably G650.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Current A&P License (Inspection Authorization, IA, preferred).
  • Valid US Passport.
  • No undisclosed FAA accidents or sanctions.
  • Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Must reside within 2 hours of KDAL (Dallas Love Field).
  • Required to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willing and able to travel, including international travel.
  • Service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance and demonstrated ability to make a positive impression.
  • Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and financially.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a team player.
