About the role
The Corporate Transactions Associate position offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing, energetic team focused on sophisticated corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will handle a broad mix of emerging companies and venture capital financings, M&A, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters.
Responsibilities
- Handle a broad mix of emerging companies and venture capital financings, M&A, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters.
- Work with publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, investors, and entrepreneurs.
- Manage transaction processes, document preparation, and client communication with a high level of responsibility and autonomy.
- Develop strong, long-term client-facing relationships within a collaborative and dynamic team.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in venture capital/early-stage financings, M&A, private equity, and general corporate counseling.
- Experience in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions.
- Strong document drafting, project management, and client interaction skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- JD from an ABA-approved law school and active membership in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid work ethic.
Pay
$240,000 to $350,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
