Job Details

We are seeking a mid-level corporate attorney to join a collaborative transactional practice representing companies, investors, and business leaders through a wide range of corporate matters. This role offers substantial client interaction, exposure to sophisticated transactions, and the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor throughout various stages of a company's growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on general corporate governance and business matters
  • Represent companies and investors in financing transactions
  • Aid in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and commercial agreements
  • Provide practical legal guidance to management teams and business stakeholders
  • Support clients through various stages of growth, operations, and exit transactions
  • Collaborate with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions

Qualifications

  • Prior experience handling sophisticated corporate transactions
  • Experience with one or more of the following: mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture financings, capital raising activities, or general corporate counseling
  • Ability to manage client relationships and transaction workflows effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-moving environment

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • About 4-6 years of relevant corporate transactional experience
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in working with innovative and growth-oriented businesses
