Spec Building Materials is in search of a corporate trainer to help coach, train and mentor our associates. This position would be ideal for any candidate that enjoys building, teaching and molding new candidates in the building materials industry. Position Responsibilities Developing training curriculumTeach and coach new associatesScheduling of associates training moduleScheduling key vendor product demonstrationsContinuing educations programs for associatesEvaluating new employee’s progressSome HR responsibilities/on boarding Position Requirements Preferably a background in the building materials industryExtensive product knowledge in steep slope and low slope roofing materials preferredPossess strong leadership qualitiesStrong sales skillsMust reside in the greater Kansas City areaKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook PowerPoint, Excel, Google & ZoomMust possess the entrepreneurial spirit; be self-motivated, and enthusiastic about our business.Must have excellent customer service skills, management skills and attitude.Must be detailed oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.Must have good verbal and written communication skills.Willing to travelMust be dependable and have a current state issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.Must be legally entitled to work in the United StatesMust be able to pass a company required drug test
