Corporate Services Specialist

About the Role

The Corporate Service Associate will develop and demonstrate a basic understanding of retirement plans and Benetrends’ products and services with the goal of establishing corporations for new and seasoned entrepreneurs. The role involves clearly communicating corporate responsibilities and state requirements.

Successful candidates will interact professionally with employees, customers, and suppliers, work effectively as a team contributor, and work independently while coordinating efforts with others. The position requires comfort with a high volume of incorporation services and organizational support duties, proficiency with process management and document/information management systems, and strong collaboration and communication with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file required documents to establish corporate entities, including:
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Doing Business As (DBA’s)
  • Amendments
  • Dissolutions
  • Conversions from LLC to C-Corporation
  • Revocations from S-Corporation to C-Corporation
  • Foreign Entities
  • Required State Licenses
• Work with clients to obtain signatures on various documents
• Obtain EIN’s from the IRS, including SS-4 documentation
• Organize and prepare documents for banks and other related parties
• Prepare and send minutes, bylaws, and stock certificates to clients
• Prepare and send addendums and stock certificates
• Understand and communicate state requirements for corporations to clients
• Clearly communicate state and corporate responsibilities to clients
• Work with Registered Agents as needed
• Exercise judgment in determining acceptable data
• Communicate with external and internal sources as needed
