Corporate Senior HR Generalist

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner supports the business in achieving organizational goals through strategic advice and impactful human capital initiatives. They work closely with senior and executive leadership, providing consulting and coaching to solve personnel issues and drive organizational culture.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor to a specific line of business, focusing on partnership with senior and executive leadership.
• Use a data-driven approach to recommend human capital initiatives with measurable returns on investment.
• Provide consulting and coaching to support leadership in addressing large-scale personnel issues.
• Assist business leaders in shaping EchoStar's organizational culture.
• Evaluate organizational design and make recommendations to enhance performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with the Corporate Compensation and Total Rewards teams to develop strategies for attracting and retaining top talent.
• Support the expansion of the HR Service Delivery Model through change management activities, consistent feedback loops, and process design.
• Advocate for HR programs, communicate their business value, and manage program rollouts to minimize disruption and drive business outcomes.
• Lead by example, demonstrating EchoStar's culture and values in actions and words.
• Understand and articulate department and EchoStar corporate business goals, including financial impacts of HR actions.
• Interpret, understand, and execute on various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, and schedule forms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience across multiple HR disciplines.
• Advanced knowledge of more than one HR discipline.
• 5+ years of experience providing HR support for large organizations (approximately 5000+ employees).
• 5+ years of experience supporting or partnering with senior and/or executive-level leadership.
• Previous management experience is a plus.

• Ability to identify trends in data and inform stakeholders with recommendations.
• Strong relationship-building skills with employees, people managers, and teams.
• Experience in coaching and advising employees at various levels.
• Effective in handling multiple priorities and duties in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Pay

$72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

Schedule

Regular, predictable, and timely attendance is required. Travel demands vary, but are estimated at less than 10%.
