Corporate Public Companies Associate (Junior) – San Diego

About the role

We are searching for a junior associate to join our Corporate Public Companies group in our San Diego office.

Responsibilities

• Counseling pre-IPO and public companies on disclosure, corporate governance, and SEC and stock exchange reporting and compliance matters
• Assisting in capital markets transactions for issuers and underwriters
• Experience with venture-backed companies is a plus
• Managing client relationships and handling day-to-day needs of clients

Requirements

• JD
• Years: 2022 – 2024
• Preference for candidates already admitted to practice in California
• Previous large law firm experience required

Team-oriented and collaborative attitude, excitement about working with pre-IPO and public clients in the venture capital ecosystem.

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$235,000-$310,000
