Responsibilities
- Aid attorneys and senior paralegals in the Investment Banking group with legal support.
- Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other transaction-related documents.
- Manage legal records retention for investment banking transactions, ensuring compliance.
- Administer the DocuSign process for legal agreements and maintain a database of executed agreements.
- Update and maintain the form agreement library, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Cook up with legal, compliance, and investment banking teams on firm-wide matters, including policy updates.
- Expand responsibilities with experience, including substantive review of engagement letters and operative agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- At least 2+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal, in-house or at a law firm, is preferred.
- Familiarity with DocuSign, DataStore, or other document management systems is an asset.
- Excellent writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and transactions effectively.
- Proactive approach to work, with the ability to initiate follow-up and ensure timely project execution.
- Responsive and attentive to the needs of internal business clients and colleagues.
- Notary public license is a plus.
