About the role
The Law, Policy and Integrity Department at TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Paralegal to support the Corporate Legal function, focusing on corporate governance, subsidiary management, and contract administration.
Responsibilities
- Support the management of domestic and international subsidiaries, including maintaining corporate records and databases
- Prepare and file corporate documentation, such as articles of incorporation, bylaws, board and shareholder resolutions, consents, and powers of attorney
- Cook up and distribute corporate documentation, including agendas, resolutions, consents, minutes, and notices, and coordinate logistics via board portals
- Maintain and update corporate governance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
- Track and manage corporate filings, registrations, and certifications across jurisdictions
- Support contract administration processes, including routing, tracking, and maintaining executed agreements and ensuring proper documentation
- Partner with internal teams to gather information and facilitate execution of corporate transactions and documentation
- Ensure timely dissemination of corporate information and documentation to relevant stakeholders
- Perform other corporate paralegal and administrative functions as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, with a focus on corporate governance
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certification
- Full bilingual – Spanish/English
- Experience managing corporate entities and maintaining corporate records across multiple jurisdictions
- Demonstrated experience tracking and managing a high volume of contracts and legal documentation
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance practices and documentation
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with entity management systems and board portals is a plus
