About the role
Highly visible position partnering with senior leadership to ensure corporate records, board activities, compliance initiatives, and legal documentation are managed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Support corporate governance by preparing and maintaining board and committee materials, meeting minutes, resolutions, bylaws, and corporate records.
- Coordinate board and committee meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and meeting materials.
- Manage legal records, document retention, subpoenas, garnishments, litigation holds, and related legal requests.
- Review and coordinate execution of contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, leases, and other commercial documents.
- Track key corporate, regulatory, and compliance deadlines.
- Assist with policy management and maintain organized legal documentation.
- Support due diligence efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient legal and administrative operations.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher, or Paralegal Certificate required.
- 2-5+ years of corporate paralegal experience, including corporate governance and board support.
- Experience managing legal documents, contracts, and corporate records.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with governance software or SharePoint is a plus.
- Notary Public certification is preferred.
Pay
$60-85K depending on experience.
