Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day legal operations by refining workflows, organizing priorities, and building efficient processes that support the Legal Department’s overall performance.
- Oversee contract administration activities, including coordinating intake, monitoring progress, supporting execution, maintaining templates, and improving visibility into agreement status.
- Manage legal technology tools and related systems to strengthen document control, workflow efficiency, reporting accuracy, and team collaboration.
- Maintain governance records such as entity documents, board materials, resolutions, and minute books, ensuring corporate documentation remains current and well organized.
- Cook up board and committee meeting logistics by preparing materials, tracking deadlines, and helping ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Monitor recurring corporate filings and compliance requirements, partnering with internal stakeholders and external advisors to keep obligations on schedule.
- Support equity-related administration and capitalization tracking in collaboration with finance partners and outside resources.
- Prepare summaries, presentations, and reporting materials for executives while serving as a key point of coordination between Legal and other business functions.
- Review outside counsel invoices, assist with budget oversight, and help manage vendor relationships to support cost control and service quality.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend scalable improvements that enhance legal service delivery, project coordination, and risk visibility.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a corporate paralegal, legal operations, governance, or legal project coordination role.
- Demonstrated background supporting senior legal leadership, such as a General Counsel or executive team, in a fast-moving business setting.
- Working knowledge of corporate governance practices, board administration, and contract management processes.
- Experience using legal operations platforms, e-signature tools, contract systems, or project tracking software to manage legal workflows.
- Strong ability to balance multiple deadlines, organize complex information, and maintain accuracy across concurrent projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across legal, finance, human resources, sales, and product teams.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential business and legal information.
- Prior exposure to technology, startup, or fintech environments, as well as familiarity with equity administration or corporate document drafting, is a plus.
