Corporate Paralegal

About the role

Our client is an innovative energy and infrastructure company seeking a trusted corporate and commercial paralegal to join the legal team and support its rapid growth. The firm enjoys strong positive press and requires a key player to help manage its expanding commercial workload.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the company’s AI platform to review, flag, and execute critical commercial agreements, including NDAs, equipment leases, and vendor and customer agreements.
• Perform general corporate legal functions for a busy, well‑funded public company.
• Assist with discovery requests and other day‑to‑day legal matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys on creative problem‑solving and provide essential support to the legal team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience at a law firm or in‑house legal department with a transactional focus.
• Hands‑on experience drafting and negotiating commercial technology and services agreements.
• Self‑motivated, eager to learn, takes ownership of work, and interested in advancing a career in energy‑related deals.

Schedule

• Full‑time position for approximately 3–4 months with potential for longer‑term employment.
• Hybrid work arrangement in Austin, TX: in‑office 2–3 days per week (or more as needed).

Compensation

The annualized base salary ranges from $90,000 to $120,000, accompanied by full benefits.
