About the role
The firm is seeking a Corporate & M&A Partner with experience advising companies, business owners, and investors throughout the business lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.
Responsibilities
- Enjoy building long-term client relationships, serving as a trusted business advisor, and continuing to grow a sophisticated transactional practice
- Bring and continue growing an established portable book of business
- Serve as a trusted advisor to businesses, entrepreneurs, executives, and investors
- Strong cross-referral opportunities across litigation, real estate, employment, private client, and other practice areas
- Have a seat at the table and contribute to the firm's strategic growth
- Leverage an established regional platform, collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas, and deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients through a full-service firm environment
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to Connecticut Bar preferred
- Significant experience practicing corporate law, M&A, or business transactions
- Established client relationships and portable book of business preferred
- Proven ability to develop and maintain business relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and drafting skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in helping grow a regional practice

Pay
$190,000 - $350,000 per year
