The Opportunity

You’ll work on a steady flow of middle-market and large-cap M&A transactions, advising both private and public companies across a wide range of industries. The practice emphasizes hands-on deal execution, direct client exposure, and collaboration with experienced partners who are deeply invested in associate development.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support mergers, acquisitions, and related corporate transactions
• Draft and negotiate primary deal documents, including purchase agreements and ancillary transaction materials
• Manage diligence processes and transaction timelines with precision
• Work directly with clients and counterparties, exercising sound commercial judgment
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across corporate and related practice areas
• Stay current on legal developments impacting M&A and corporate governance

What They’re Looking For

• 4–6 years of corporate M&A experience, including work for private and public companies
• Prior experience in a large law firm environment with immediately transferable skills
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical capabilities
• Excellent academic credentials
• Admitted to practice in California
• A JD from an accredited law school
• Previous experience working in a law firm is required
