Corporate Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements for sales teams in the US and UK
• Provide business-oriented contract advice to staff at various levels
• Support data protection requests and manage data compliance matters
• Negotiate vendor agreements and advise on compliance and governance issues
• Develop and maintain template agreements and contract review resources
• Identify and implement improvements to legal processes for increased efficiency

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal experience either at a law firm or in-house
• JD with membership in good standing in at least one state bar association
• Ability to provide business-focused legal contract advice to colleagues
• Creative thinker with a knack for improving processes and driving efficiencies
• Experience or willingness to handle corporate and commercial matters in both the US and UK
• Quick learner comfortable with new legal areas
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent work environment

Pay

$150,000 – $180,000 annually
