Who We Are Looking For

Slate is seeking a Corporate Intercompany Accountant to support and manage intercompany accounting activities across the organization. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate transactions, reconciliations, and close processes as the company grows.

What You Get To Do

• Manage Intercompany Transactions – Record, reconcile, and monitor transactions across multiple legal entities.
• Intercompany Reconciliations & Eliminations – Prepare and maintain reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year-end close process.
• Support Month End and Year End Close – Assist with close activities related to intercompany balances, including variance analysis and coordination with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
• Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance – Support adherence to established transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements in partnership with tax and finance teams.
• Facilitate Audit and Compliance Efforts – Provide audit support related to intercompany activity, including schedules, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Contribute to ERP Implementation – Participate in ERP system implementation and optimization efforts related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation processes.
• Develop and Maintain Standard Procedures – Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation for intercompany accounting activities to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Support Public Company Readiness – Assist in building scalable intercompany processes, controls, and documentation to support public company reporting requirements.
• Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of intercompany accounting and close processes.

What You Bring To The Team

• Proven experience in intercompany accounting within a multi-entity or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close processes.
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining compliance with internal controls.
• Ability to interpret and apply accounting policies with strong attention to detail.
• Ownership mindset with a high level of accountability and follow-through.
• Clear, thoughtful communicator able to work cross-functionally and across entities.
• Strong analytical skills and sound professional judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
