Corporate Immigration Paralegal (AI Native Law Firm)
About the Role
Manifest Law is one of the first AI-native corporate immigration firms in the country, built to offer the best of both worlds: the scale of a larger firm with the quality client service of a boutique. Manifest OS — the technology that powers the firm — carries much of the operational load, so paralegals spend their time on substantive casework rather than administrative busywork. This role is for paralegals who want real ownership of their caseload, a genuine partnership with attorneys, and a front-row seat in building a modern immigration practice.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with a business immigration attorney to execute high-volume, high-quality work for corporate clients, leading PERM and H-1B case preparation from intake through filing, with additional exposure to L-1s, E visas, and extraordinary-ability matters (EB-1A, O-1, EB-2 NIW) as needed.
- Guide clients through document collection and evidence gathering, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with USCIS and DOL requirements.
- Prepare USCIS forms and draft clean, persuasive, well-organized case materials tailored to each petition type.
- Serve as a professional, steady point of contact for corporate HR partners and foreign-national employees, handling updates, expectations, and process explanations with clarity and confidence.
- Track deadlines and manage a substantial, simultaneous caseload with meticulous records to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Anticipate your supervising attorney's needs, aligning on preferences and enabling them to focus on higher-level legal strategy.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in U.S. corporate immigration, including significant hands-on experience with PERMs and H-1Bs.
- Experience managing high-volume corporate workloads and working directly with HR stakeholders.
- Comfort owning paralegal workflows from intake through filing.
- Strong drafting skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A track record of direct client communication in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High organization, reliability, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines smoothly.
- Comfort with legal technology, case management systems, and process improvements.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Bonus: experience with L-1s, E-1/E-2, EB-1A, O-1, or EB-2 NIW cases.
Benefits
- Higher-agency work: Manifest OS absorbs intake, status-chasing, and document assembly, allowing you to focus on substantive work that leverages your skills.
- Real partnership with attorneys: Treated as a strategic partner, not a task queue — your judgment and workflow ownership are valued.
- Remote by design: The entire legal side of the firm works remotely, with no plans to change.
- Ground floor opportunity: Paralegals who build a track record here have a clear path to more senior case and workflow ownership as the firm scales.
Pay
The good-faith salary range for this position is $65K - $105K USD (base compensation). Actual pay is determined by factors including location, experience, education, and skills. Candidates outside the U.S. will be paid as contractors at a rate of $15-25 per hour, depending on location and experience.
This role is open to candidates in the United States.
AI in Recruiting
Manifest uses AI-powered tools to support administrative aspects of recruitment, such as organizing applications and surfacing candidate information for review. Some interviews may be recorded and transcribed using an AI note-taking tool, used solely for accurate note-taking — it does not score, analyze, or evaluate candidates. These tools do not make hiring decisions, and no candidate is advanced or screened out without human review.
