A leading global law firm is seeking a junior to mid-level Corporate Funds Associate to join its highly regarded private funds practice in New York. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside top-tier attorneys advising a sophisticated client base that spans industries and investment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Advise sponsors and investment managers on the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds
  • Work across a variety of fund types, including private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative investment vehicles
  • Support regulatory and compliance matters related to investment management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex, high-value transactions
  • Engage directly with clients and contribute to strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate law, ideally with exposure to private funds or investment management
  • Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a high level of professional accountability
  • Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
  • J.D. required, along with prior experience working in a law firm
