Corporate Director of Destination Sales - Concord Hospitality Enterprises

Responsibilities

  • Actively identify, cultivate, and pursue new business opportunities across special corporate, group, leisure travel industry, and special event
  • Develop and foster business in the above specific market segments for multiple hotels within a cluster through pro-active efforts to include but not limited to the following: direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, appointment calls, networking and site tours
  • Develop and execute destination lead-generation strategies to support existing hotels and new management
  • Leverage industry relationships, local partnerships, and market intelligence to generate qualified leads
  • Collaborate with Concord’s development and acquisitions teams to support new hotel opportunities in the state of Florida

Market Expansion & Brand Presence

  • Increase Concord Hospitality’s visibility and reputation within the Florida hospitality, corporate, and tourism industries
  • Represent the hotels and the destination at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and client meetings
  • Support the onboarding and stabilization of new hotels entering the Concord portfolio in the Florida Geographic region

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Provide a partnership with each Directors of Sales and Marketing across the destination
  • Drive destination portfolio-wide sales strategies to increase group, transient, catering, and ancillary revenue
  • Align destination sales initiatives with Concord Hospitality’s overall revenue and growth objectives
  • Maintain and monitor sales performance, booking trends, and competitive positioning of each hotel; identify areas of opportunity and target to reverse trends

Process Optimization & Best Practices

  • Implement standardized sales processes, tools, and reporting across all assigned hotels
  • Ensure systems utilization, pipeline management, and account tracking are consistent and effective
  • Identify operational or structural barriers to sales success and collaborate with operations to resolve
  • Ensure all booking fee processes are followed

Market Knowledge

  • Complete market and competitor knowledge of each hotel brand represented and specific targeted businesses
  • Thorough knowledge of hotel brands represented and specific targeted businesses
  • Clear understanding of each hotel’s business strategies, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR goals

Qualifications

  • Able to travel between assigned hotels, Florida markets, travel to industry events and Concord corporate meetings

Pay Range

$140,672 - $175,840
