Corporate Development Associate

About the role

The Corporate Development team at our client is a key part of a long-term investment and operating platform that partners with middle-market businesses to drive growth through acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities
• Build and maintain complex financial models and valuation analyses
• Conduct due diligence and support transaction execution
• Analyze market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities
• Develop strategic recommendations for operating businesses
• Publish investment memoranda and executive presentations
• Support integration efforts for newly acquired companies
• Partner directly with management teams on operational and growth initiatives
• Work closely with senior leadership on high-impact strategic projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
• 3-4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or Consultancy
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Interest in both M&A and broader business strategy
