Corporate Development Associate
The Corporate Development Associate role is based in the United States and is part of a fast-scaling infrastructure-driven business. The position involves shaping multi-year financial strategy, executing M&A and capital markets initiatives, and providing strategic support to senior leadership.
About the role
You will be responsible for leading the development and annual refresh of long-range financial models, building advanced financial models for M&A transactions, supporting capital markets activities, conducting industry research, and translating strategic objectives into financial forecasts and capital allocation plans.
Responsibilities
Leading the development and annual refresh of long-range (10-year) integrated financial models aligned with strategic growth plans
Building and maintaining advanced financial models to evaluate M&A transactions, joint ventures, and divestiture opportunities
Supporting capital markets activities including debt issuance, credit facility management, and broader financing strategy execution
Conducting deep-dive industry and competitive research, particularly within telecommunications and infrastructure sectors
Partnering with senior leadership to translate strategic objectives into financial forecasts and capital allocation plans
Analyzing how financing decisions and transactions impact balance sheet structure and long-term enterprise value
Supporting execution of live deals, refinancing efforts, and multi-threaded strategic initiatives
Preparing high-quality materials and insights for executive leadership and external financing partners
Requirements
Strong experience in corporate development, investment banking, or capital markets, with a track record of building sophisticated financial models and supporting transaction execution
Expertise in advanced Excel modeling and multi-year integrated financial forecasting
Experience supporting or executing capital markets transactions (debt and/or equity)
Solid understanding of capital structure, valuation methods, and financial statement impact analysis
Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, including live deals and strategic planning processes
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior executives and non-finance stakeholders
Experience in infrastructure, telecommunications, or CAPEX-intensive business models is a strong plus
