Corporate Development Associate
About the role
As a Corporate Development Associate, you will be at the center of Scout’s most critical initiatives, working directly with the executive team and cross-functionally with leaders across the company on high-impact projects. Your work will span strategy, finance, partnerships, and execution, helping shape the trajectory of the company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for the board, investors, partners, and government customers
- Support strategy development alongside the executive team
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of the DoW budget to uncover opportunities for growth
- Support new and existing partnerships, including customer engagement and joint initiatives
- Aid in program management across the lifecycle of customer contracts
- Drive investor relations, including reporting, financial modeling, and fundraising preparation
- Contribute across the company wherever needed, this is a startup, and you’ll wear many hats
Requirements
- 2 to 6 years of experience at a top consulting firm, investment bank, or private equity firm, with a history of outstanding performance
- Undergraduate degree from a highly regarded university
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, coupled with the skill to communicate clearly and influence senior decision-makers
- Demonstrated ability to move seamlessly between quantitative and qualitative work, whether building models, writing strategy memos, or delivering executive-level presentations
- Deep curiosity about defense, AI, and/or autonomy, and motivation to contribute to a mission of consequence
- Highly proactive and action-oriented; thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
Qualifications

Pay
The stated salary range below represents an estimated base pay only and reflects consideration of multiple compensation factors. Final salary offers may differ depending on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience or training background, specialized skills, and business needs. Most full-time positions also include highly competitive equity awards, which form part of Scout AI's overall compensation package. US Salary Range $140,000 - $190,000 USD
