Principal Duties

• Helping launch innovative new products and services.
• Conducting legal review of program features, and customer-facing launch plans.
• Structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, ranging from standard commercial contracts to strategic deals.
• Resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, including data use and privacy.
• Handling regulatory contacts and advising on regulatory matters.
• Thinking outside the box!

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience
• 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
• Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
• Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention
• Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent

• Can distill complex legal issues into clear, concise business guidance
• Can use AI for legal research, contract analysis, or document review experience
• Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
• Experience working cross functionally across several teams
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• USA, NY, New York: 169,300.00 - 229,000.00 USD annually
