Corporate Controller

Oversee all accounting functions across multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, orchestrating financial reporting, and partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions across multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Orchestrate financial reporting and month-end close processes
• Maintain robust internal controls and manage tax and regulatory compliance
• Drive continuous process improvements in accounting operations
• Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic growth initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams and operations
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and audit coordination
• Demonstrated expertise in external audit management and regulatory compliance
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work long hours at a workstation performing heavy computer work
• On-site presence in a temperature-regulated office environment in Cleveland, OH

Skills

• Experience with manufacturing and distribution industry operations (preferred)
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial technology tools (preferred)
• Knowledge of multi-site accounting and consolidations (preferred)

Pay

$130,000–$150,000 plus bonus and equity

Schedule

On-site in Cleveland, OH. No travel required, but flexibility for periodic meetings and audits as needed.
