Corporate Controller

About the role

A Real Estate developer, investor, and operator is seeking a Corporate Controller. The role provides exposure to multiple entities, reports directly to the CFO, and offers a bright, motivated Corporate Accountant with real‑estate accounting experience an opportunity for career growth within a company known for its strong culture and benefits that go beyond compensation. Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly consolidations and multi‑entity reporting
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, audits, and disclosures
• Support real estate investment accounting and fair value considerations across the portfolio
• Drive automation and process improvements

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant corporate accounting experience, with some exposure to real estate accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience with consolidation accounting, equity method accounting, partnership structures, and ASC 946
• Strong proficiency with Yardi or Yardi Investment Manager (highly preferred)
• Experience with complex tax structures and packages
• Willingness to speak up and drive change, not just accept the status quo

Pay

Base pay range: $140,000 – $155,000 per year. Bonus eligibility of approximately 20% based on qualifying factors.

Schedule

Hybrid work arrangement; position located in Boston, MA.
