Corporate & Community Donations Manager
Cultivation and Management
Cultivates, maintains and manages a Corporate & Community Donation program through building relationships in our community with other retailers, distributors and corporate partners.
Works closely with the Transportation Department to ensure corporate donation pickups are executed efficiently and effectively. Also identifies and resolves issues around cost, logistics and labor needed.
Sustainability Leadership
Leads community engagement and sustainability efforts that strengthen awareness of Goodwill’s mission, create new pathways for donation acquisition and support responsible reuse of goods.
Develops and supports partnerships, events and outreach strategies that connect community relationships to measurable donation growth, increased donor participation, landfill diversion, sustainability efforts and stronger long-term engagement.
Partnership Development
Explores, develops, and manages contract service initiatives and partnerships that create business opportunities, generate revenue, and advance the organization's strategic objectives.
Works closely with Marketing and Transportation to ensure donation drives are executed efficiently and effectively.
Donation Tracking and Education
Tracks all Corporate & Community Donations and their estimated value.
Documents contacts with businesses and ensures continued follow up with all potential donors.
Identifies industries and companies which would be good targets for potential corporate donations, including Electronics, Computers and other Ecommerce worthy items using various research methods such as business groups, industry newsletters, etc.
Works with the Director, Transportation, Logistics and Sustainability to identify most needed/sellable items that will generate revenue for the agency.
Educates Goodwill team members about the donations process to ensure team members are providing business leads which can assist the donations flow.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Business Administration, Communications or related field and two years' experience managing solicitation programs; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of three to four years’ experience in a business to business sales position, focused on relationship building.

The team member is occasionally (less than 1/3 of the day) required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
Extensive local travel required.
