About the role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a full-time Capital Markets associate in their Miami office. The position offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients, large and small, from various industries across the country.
  • Lead due diligence teams for leading Capital Market transactions.
  • Manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment.
  • Represent U.S. and non-U.S. public and private issuers, as well as underwriters, financial institutions, venture capital funds, hedge funds, broker-dealers, investment companies, and private investment firms in all aspects of U.S. and cross-border securities offerings.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in corporate transactions, with an emphasis on Capital Markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of maturity.
  • A proven willingness to accept significant responsibility.
  • Strong academic credentials and writing skills.
  • Well-versed in the mechanics of leading Capital Market transactions.
  • Experience leading due diligence teams.
  • General corporate and corporate governance experience.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team across practice areas.
  • A willingness to train junior associates.

Qualifications

  • Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
