Corporate Attorney
About the role
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in corporate law. Basic contract, corporate governance, and merger and acquisition experience required. Experience with tax and securities, a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Provide guidance on corporate governance issues
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions
- Support tax and securities matters, where relevant
- Contribute to the development of legal strategies and solutions
- Collaborate with other attorneys on various projects
- Manage multiple tasks and assignments effectively
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials
- High ethical standards
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong project management skills
Qualifications
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in at least one of the following jurisdictions: Tennessee, Kentucky, or Southern Ohio
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience
