Corporate Attorney

About the role

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience in corporate law. Basic contract, corporate governance, and merger and acquisition experience required. Experience with tax and securities, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
• Provide guidance on corporate governance issues
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions
• Work on tax and securities matters, where relevant
• Collaborate with other attorneys on various projects
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

• Excellent academic credentials
• High ethical standards
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong project management skills

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in at least one of the following jurisdictions: Tennessee, Kentucky, or Southern Ohio
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
• Experience with contract drafting and negotiation
• Knowledge of corporate governance principles
