About the role

The Nashville office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, P.C. seeks a Corporate Associate with three to six years of experience to join its Corporate Group.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, capital markets transactions, and general corporate matters.
• Experience with public and private company governance, securities law compliance, and related regulatory matters is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent academic credentials, strong drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Significant experience working directly with clients and senior deal teams on sophisticated transactions for private equity sponsors, public and private companies, and institutional investors.

Requirements

• Tennessee license required.
