Corporate and Transactional Legal Assistant
Latitude is assisting a boutique law firm in identifying a Corporate & Transactional Legal Assistant to support three attorneys primarily practicing in the business and transactional area. This role will provide core legal and administrative support, with a particular focus on corporate maintenance, document preparation, organization, and client coordination.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to anticipate needs, stay ahead of deadlines, and ensure matters continue moving forward through strong planning and follow-through. The Legal Assistant will play an important role in keeping the attorneys organized and their practices running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the formation and ongoing maintenance of business entities and nonprofit organizations
- Support attorneys with corporate and transactional matters, including preparing and organizing related documentation
- Assist in preparing entity governance documents, including amendments, mergers, dissolutions, resolutions, and consents
- Prepare and maintain annual reports and consents in lieu of annual meetings
- Create, organize, and maintain corporate and entity minute books and related governance records
- Maintain accurate and organized legal files, corporate records, and matter information within the firm’s case management system
- Track corporate maintenance requirements, deadlines, and outstanding items to help ensure timely completion
- Coordinate documents, signatures, and follow-up items with attorneys, clients, and other parties as needed
- Provide additional legal administrative support across other practice areas as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of related legal assistant experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in document preparation, proofreading, and recordkeeping
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Professional, courteous, and client-service-oriented communication with clients, attorneys, and staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, as well as Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Experience with document management and/or legal practice management systems preferred
- Experience with ProLaw is a plus
Schedule
Full-Time, on-site (4-5 days a week at the firm's Seattle office) highly desirable.
Pay
The base salary for this position ranges from $55,000-$75,000, depending on experience.
