About the Role
Client Investment Management seeks a seasoned professional to enhance their Operations team. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and adept problem-solving skills. The primary responsibility involves managing mandatory and voluntary corporate actions.
Responsibilities
- Support portfolio managers, traders, and administrators using the Blackrock Aladdin Trade Management System.
- Analyze data and oversee corporate action events in collaboration with vendors, middle offices, and custodians.
- Handle mandatory and voluntary corporate action events from announcement to settlement.
- Gather and process responses for voluntary events and submit instructions to custodians before deadlines.
- Offer support for corporate action workflows, maintaining standards and managing functions.
- Promptly address and resolve issues related to corporate action transactions.
- Conduct cash and position reconciliation in Aladdin for designated portfolios.
- Coordinate with middle office and custodian banks to resolve unconfirmed settlements and reconciliation discrepancies.
- Deliver exceptional operational support to stakeholders.
- Ensure timely communication of critical business inquiries among internal and external parties.
- Revise procedures and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with 3-5 years in operations or a related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication capabilities.
- Proficient in problem-solving and collaborative, innovative thinking.
- Familiarity with custodian bank standards and asset management interoperability.
- In-depth knowledge of equity and fixed income securities is essential.
- Expertise in corporate actions is crucial.
- Experience with BRS Aladdin is advantageous.
