Job Details

This position is available at Hampton Inn & Suites Outer Banks – Corolla. The schedule is flexible, typically 6a-1p or until after service is finished.

Responsibilities

• Preparing for, setting up, and disassembling the buffet
• Ensuring the buffet is stocked with sufficient food throughout service
• Interacting with guests by taking orders, responding to questions or complaints, and clearing their eating area upon departure
• Maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant, including sanitizing surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Taking inventory of food, beverages, and supplies daily
• Cleaning and restocking supplies for the next shift or day
• Performing additional duties as needed

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role
• Understanding of food safety and handling guidelines
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 pounds, and work weekends and holidays
• Ability to work independently and multitask
