About the role
The role involves processing corneal tissue samples under sterile conditions. The technician will assist in maintaining a clean and organized lab environment, ensuring all procedures are conducted according to established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Process corneal tissue samples under sterile conditions
- Maintain a clean and organized lab environment
- Ensure all procedures are conducted according to established protocols
- Collaborate with other lab technicians and staff
- Perform quality control checks on processed samples
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a laboratory setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment and techniques
- Experience with sterile technique and handling of biological materials
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
