About the role

The Wilmer Eye Institute is seeking a fellowship-trained cornea and external disease specialist to join the team at The Wilmer Eye Clinic in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical and surgical skills in corneal, cataract, and external eye diseases and disorders, along with a strong commitment to academic medicine and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Primary clinical activity at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute and satellite locations
  • Teaching of fellows and ophthalmology residents
  • Engagement in research activities

Requirements

  • Successfully completed an ACGME accredited ophthalmology residency training program
  • Completed a fellowship in cornea and external disease
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology
  • Qualifies for Assistant Professor or higher rank in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine

Pay

The salary range for this position is based on faculty rank and years in rank. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, including the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training, and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.

The schedule for this position is full-time.
