Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive clinical care, including medical and surgical management of corneal disorders.
- Perform corneal transplants and treat conditions such as dry eye, keratoconus, and infectious keratitis.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Contribute to ongoing research in corneal disease.
- Participate in departmental clinical initiatives.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ophthalmology residency program.
- Board certification in ophthalmology preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in cornea and external disease.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in academic medicine and research.
Skills
- Proficiency in corneal surgery techniques.
- Knowledge of corneal disease pathophysiology.
- Experience with corneal transplant procedures.
- Ability to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position requires in-person attendance at an Emory University location. Working remotely is not an option.
