Responsibilities

  • Provide support for continuous improvement efforts across the site and aid in improving the site’s CORE maturity score.
  • Help the site identify and implement improvements to how we work to increase efficiency by utilizing CORE principles.
  • Assist with CORE activities for improving business processes and results by enhancing CORE awareness and skills.
  • Coordinate and schedule CORE events, including assessments and events across the site.
  • Translate, distribute, and maintain CORE policy and procedure documents to support the business.
  • Maintain CORE data management and training tracking.
  • Develop routine reports detailing CORE activities for the site.
  • Create basic communication materials outlining CORE criteria, goals, and assessment results.
  • Track the status of CORE projects and trainings.
  • Assist with the development and deployment of CORE programs and principles to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage submitted recommendations for process and procedural changes to reduce waste and improve efficiency, ensuring timely review and feedback.
  • Complete and achieve CORE Apprentice Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Willingness to take initiative to identify solutions to problems that are not always well-defined.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CORE Apprentice Certification.
  • Two-year degree in a related field.

Pay

The pay range is $27.00 per hour. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
