Core Clinical Services Application Analyst

Job Summary CHSPSC, LLC seeks an IT Application Services Management (ASM) Analyst to assist in the facilitation of application Services management processes pertaining to analyzing value, evaluating risk, managing Software Maintenance LifeCycle (SMLC), ensuring overall health of applications within the portfolio and assisting with the onboarding of new technology requests to ensure alignment with organizational strategies for the clinical service line. Essential Functions Strategic analysis of the clinical application portfolio including lifecycle management, service delivery, application rationalization, consolidation and standardization to achieve the department objectives of the organization including reducing variation of redundant or unused applicationsAssist in the definition, implementation and support of portfolio management standards, policies and processesFacilitate data driven decisions pertaining to clinical IT project investmentsCollaborate with business partners, technology leaders and department directors to identify and promote adoption of enterprise standards and rationalization of application systems to achieve economic and patient experience improvement goalsDocument current state and contribute to the direction of the application lifecycle management (LCM) roadmap to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and drive growth and revenueTrack application and vendor trends and maintain knowledge of new technologies to support the organization’s current and future needsMaintain an awareness of industry standard best practices and apply relevant methodologies for process improvementAssist as a portfolio point of contact for the business leadership of the core clinical service linePerform application rationalization feasibility analysis and proposals for management and business partners which support the organization's clinical and economic objectivesReview and define applications’ advantages, risks, costs, benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goalsDevelop and maintain productive relationships of trust both within and outside CHS and embrace the authoritative role in respect to maintaining enterprise standards and align others to the strategic directionEducate peers and business partners on department methodologies and drive adoption of standard processIdentify and evaluate portfolio risks and recommend mitigation plansPartner with key business and delivery stakeholders to conduct application and service line reviews including scope, metrics, expenses and net promoter scores to determine the disposition of existing and proposed solutionsCommunicate timely and accurate status to appropriate levels and stakeholders including the development and delivery of status reports and presentationsServe as the Technology Owner for assigned clinical applications which includes vendor management, SMLC, portfolio ownership, and relationship management to ensure the end to end health of clinical application services.
