Copy - Shift Manager- Pay Rate Up to $17.00

This position is with an independently‑owned franchisee that operates a restaurant using McDonald’s branding and products. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize each shift’s operations.
• Monitor performance, safety, security, and profitability throughout the shift.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Communicate shift information to the incoming Shift Manager.
• Meet shift targets and help assigned departments achieve their goals.
• Complete daily food‑safety checklists and practices.
• Handle internal communication, cash and inventory management.
• Maintain daily cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant.
• Manage crew scheduling and overall crew performance.
• Oversee safety and food‑production procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality.
• Apply safety and security policies and procedures.
• Never accept cash payments from vendors at the location.
• Address customer complaints at the store level.
• Practice COVID‑19 protective measures for crew and customers.
• Train crew on new products and attend Nabit webcasts.
• Lead the shift each week to ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly experience for every guest.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Professional, polite demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Reliability – be on time and adhere to the scheduled work hours.
• Serve as a role model for crew members.

Pay

Pay rate up to $17.00 per hour. Starting hourly rates from up to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience and availability.

Schedule

Part‑time, full‑time, and flexible options are available. Flexible working hours are arranged in agreement with the General Manager.
