Copy - Shift Manager- Pay Rate Up to $17.00
This position is with an independently owned and operated franchisee of McDonald’s. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters.
About the Role
Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including planning each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring the team meets McDonald’s standards, overseeing safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for a successful shift. They are also responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and helping assigned departments achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Complete daily food safety checklists and practices
- Maintain internal communication
- Manage cash and inventory
- Perform daily maintenance and cleanliness duties
- Manage crew scheduling and supervision
- Ensure safety in food production
- Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality
- Follow safety and security policies and procedures
- Never pay cash to anyone; handle vendor transactions correctly
- Handle customer complaints at the store level
- Practice COVID‑19 protective measures for crew and customers
- Train on new products and attend Nabit webcast sessions
- Lead shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness
Requirements
- Professional, polite demeanor
- Reliability and punctuality; be on time and follow the schedule
- Serve as a role model with honest communication
- Previous leadership experience preferred (restaurant, retail, or hospitality)
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule
- Passion for working in a fast‑paced environment
- Must be 18 years or older
Pay
Hourly rate up to $17.00 (starting rates from up to $16.00/hr depending on experience and availability).
