Job Duties
- Cook up departmental fiscal and administrative operations, including processing vendor invoices, purchase requests, procurement documentation, and credit card reconciliations.
- (Essential) Handle employee travel activities, such as travel authorizations, reimbursements, travel documentation, and compliance with institutional and state travel policies.
- Prepare, track, and maintain contracts and related documentation for departmental activities, speakers, vendors, consultants, and services.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute logistics for Student Access and Success events, conferences, meetings, new employee onboarding, and special initiatives, including Perkins-funded meetings and activities.
- (Essential) Assist with Perkins V-related activities by coordinating meetings, maintaining documentation, supporting communications with institutions, assisting with event logistics, collecting information for reports, and providing administrative support for grant-related activities and professional development opportunities.
- (Essential) Provide administrative support for statewide and national SkillsUSA activities, including coordination with vendors, procurement of supplies, contract administration, travel arrangements, and event support.
- (Essential) Assist with advisory councils, subcouncils, board meetings, recurring committees, and provide administrative support to the Vice Chancellor.
- (Marginal) Order and maintain supplies, assist with Student Access and Success initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Achieve an Associate degree from an accredited institution.
- Accumulate three years of administrative, program coordination, event planning, or related experience.
- (Preferred) Possess a Bachelor's degree.
- (Preferred) Have higher education experience.
