The Coordinator-Special Projects position is responsible for administering special projects, contract programs, grants, and other major initiatives related to core business practices in a specific department. The work involves research, development, planning, execution, and administrative oversight for programs, functions, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop new initiatives and programs
- Plan and execute project timelines and milestones
- Oversee administrative tasks and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, urban planning, or a related field
- Four years of technical, staff, or administrative experience related to core business practices in the department
Qualifications
- Valid Class E State driver’s license at the time of appointment
Skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
