The Coordinator, Sample Licensing Role

This role supports the day-to-day licensing needs for SME's US labels (Arista, Columbia, Epic, RCA), handling sample licensing requests, tracking releases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the request, negotiation, and administration of sample licensing requests on behalf of SME labels.
• Track upcoming releases related to samples and other third-party materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for sample clearances.
• Maintain and update databases, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
• Support the preparation and distribution of clearance status reports to relevant teams.
• Provide administrative support in coordinating internal and external approvals related to sample clearances.

Who You Are

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in business affairs, licensing, or a related role within the music or entertainment industry.
• Basic understanding of music licensing, copyright law, and clearance processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with music industry software and databases.
