Responsibilities
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop innovative publicity approaches.
- Conduct relevant research on media landscape, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
- Demonstrate keen awareness of social media trends, pop culture moments, and emerging digital platforms to inform PR strategies.
- Draft and edit PR materials including press releases, media alerts, monthly programming listings, and pitch materials.
- Create and maintain comprehensive media lists and press contact databases.
- Track and update consumer, entertainment, and trade press contacts.
- Distribute media requests to appropriate team members and agency partners.
- Manage press screener delivery and subscription accounts.
- Track, organize, and distribute key assets including trailers, key art, and episodic images.
- Maintain and update the Paramount+ media hub with available press assets.
- Monitor industry coverage and compile daily/weekly press reports.
- Talent Relations & Event Execution:
- Collaborate with talent logistics including travel arrangements (air, ground, lodging) and grooming services.
- Create and maintain detailed talent schedules for press activities.
- Negotiate rates with hair/makeup artists and stylists under supervisor guidance.
- Support execution of high-profile events including premieres, press junkets, and screenings.
- Serve as on-site talent liaison at special events.
- Manage press check-in at screenings and events; compile attendance lists and feedback.
- Cook up and manage press and talent mailers and gifting programs.
- Manage vendor invoicing and department finances through SAP Concur, ensuring timely payment processing.
- Create and maintain departmental reports, calendars, and contact sheets.
- Execute purchase ordering from vendor setup through payment.
- Schedule meetings, book conference rooms, and process expense reports.
- Lead weekly team and agency meeting agendas, including notetaking and distribution of action items.
- Support maintenance of departmental budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1+ years of experience in public relations, marketing, or communications (remarkable internship experience will be considered).
- Proficiency in Google suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Prioritize multitasking and adapt quickly in dynamic environment.
- Great organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Previous experience in publicity, communications, events, or talent relations for a streaming service, television network, or film studio.
- Deep knowledge of the entertainment media landscape and pop culture.
- Established relationships with entertainment press.
