Overview

The Coordinator, Paid Search is an entry-level role focused on supporting campaign execution, building foundational SEM knowledge, and learning core agency processes. Working under close supervision, this role is responsible for delivering accurate, timely work across campaign setup, reporting, and operational support. The Coordinator develops hands-on experience in paid search platforms while contributing to team success through strong organization, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution & Optimization Support
    • Assist in trafficking approved media plans and ensuring accurate campaign setup across paid search platforms
    • Support keyword research, ad copy development, and QA of campaign assets
    • Monitor campaign budgets, pacing, and bid adjustments under guidance from senior team members
    • Execute basic optimizations and campaign updates as directed
  • Reporting & Data Analysis
    • Pull, organize, and validate performance data to support reporting and optimization efforts
    • Absorb and prepare client-facing reports and presentations, highlighting key trends and insights
    • Develop an understanding of campaign KPIs, tracking requirements, and performance metrics
    • Identify basic performance trends and escalate findings to the team
  • Billing & Financial Operations
    • Support monthly billing processes, maintaining records and assisting with reconciliation
    • Help identify and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams
    • Aid in vendor documentation and purchase authorization processes
    • Research & Planning Support
      • Assist in gathering research and data to support campaign planning and development
      • Gain familiarity with client business objectives, products, and competitive landscape
      • Contribute to team brainstorms and strategic discussions
    • Team Collaboration & Operations
      • Collaborate with cross-functional team members on daily campaign operations
      • Provide clear, timely updates to internal teams on task progress and deliverables
      • Maintain organized documentation and track deliverables across campaigns
    • Learning & Development
      • Learn and begin using paid search platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) and bid management tools
      • Stay current on industry trends, tools, and ad formats through training and independent research
      • Complete required training programs and certifications to build foundational SEM knowledge

    Qualifications

    • 0–18 months of experience in marketing, advertising, analytics, or a related field (internships applicable)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Word
    • Familiarity with paid search platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (training provided)
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and client support
    • Collaborative and receptive to feedback, with a strong team-oriented mindset
    • Accountable for delivering high-quality work on time
    • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with a willingness to learn and grow
    • Curious and open to new tools, platforms, and industry development

    Compensation

    In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $50,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
