Account Coordinator, Paid Search
About the role
As an Account Coordinator, Paid Search, you will be an expert in production work at DEPT® and will support your account teams by executing production tasks quickly, with high quality, and error-free. Your responsibilities include developing a strong proficiency in core paid media channel execution within Google Ads, SA360, etc., determining the best methodology for a campaign build, monitoring campaigns daily, crafting clear and compelling internal and external communications, and understanding different bidding methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Developing a strong proficiency in core paid media channel execution within Google Ads, SA360, etc.
- Determining the best methodology for a campaign build: overall theme, keywords, audiences, parameters, settings, ads, etc. to best hit client goals.
- Monitoring campaigns daily to look for performance fluctuations and trends.
- Crafting clear and compelling internal and external communications.
- Understanding different bidding methodologies (smart bidding vs manual) and the strategy behind the bid adjustments as well as owning the implementation from standard bids to other modifiers as needed.
- Understanding key concepts around audience strategy (remarketing, audience targeting/layering, persona development).
- Working collaboratively and cross-functionally across internal channels to manage project deliverables and ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 months’ paid search experience (Google Ads or Bing Ads) and be comfortable with topics such as budgeting, bidding, and testing methodology.
- Proven prior work experience in a production-oriented or similar role.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills and be proficient in Excel; you already know vlookup, pivot tables, concatenating, text to columns, and love working with numbers.

- You are an entrepreneurial spirited and a self-starter; able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- You have a desire to stay current with the latest marketing trends.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is listed below. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
- US Remote Range $50,000—$60,000 USD.
Schedule
DEPT® is a remote-first company, but this role requires candidates to be located in either the Mountain or Pacific time zones.
