Job Summary
The Coordinator Office Services supports office operations for the Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) by handling various administrative duties, often involving confidentiality.
Duties & Essential Job Functions
- Serves as the point of contact for the Title IX Coordinator, Title VI Coordinator, and OIE staff.
- Maintains daily office operations by relieving the Title IX Coordinator and Title VI Coordinator of administrative duties.
- Makes sure all departmental projects are monitored and deadlines are met.
- Ensures OIE staff have up-to-date information about ongoing projects, issues, and materials.
- Assists with preparing materials for presentations and projects.
- Briefs OIE staff on daily events and projects.
- Supervises, trains, and processes paperwork for student workers.
- Manages daily workflow assignments of student workers.
- Organizes department events by securing speakers, making travel arrangements, and managing logistics.
- Maintains department websites by creating and updating content.
- Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock, ordering supplies, and resolving issues.
- Ensures office equipment operates properly by completing maintenance and calling for repairs.
- Facilitates office opening and closing procedures.
Required Education & Experience
- Associate degree or equivalent in experience.
- 3 years of administrative experience, including supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of basic accounting processes.
- Knowledge of specific job-related programs.
- Knowledge of customer service techniques.
- Knowledge of department-specific computer software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows navigation.
- Skills in Microsoft Office components.
- Basic keyboarding and record-keeping skills.
- Clear communication and drafting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to train and lead staff.
Physical Requirements
- Visual acuity for reading and communicating.
- Manual dexterity for typing and handling equipment.
- Flexibility and body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, and prolonged sitting.
- Lifting and moving up to 10 lbs.
