Coordinator of Student Development - University Housing

Under general supervision of the Director of Residence Life, the Coordinator of Student Development (CSD) is a full-time, live-in role responsible for managing the daily operations of one or more residential neighborhoods and student leader teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student leaders
• Provide inter-housing counsel advisory
• Engage and support residents
• Provide on-call and crisis support
• Adjudicate student conduct matters

Requirements

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or a job-related field
• Two years of professional experience in student services or a related field
• A master’s degree in a job-related field may substitute for one year of professional experience
• Additional specialized experience may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple assignments with fluctuating deadlines
• Demonstrated understanding of student development concepts and fostering campus belonging
• Ability to interpret, communicate, and apply policies, procedures, and regulations
• Ability to maintain highly confidential information
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse population
• Strong listening, interpretive, and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected developments and diverse perspectives

Pay

Anticipated Hiring Range: $60,996 per year
Classification Range: $60,996 - $86,736 per year

Factors in determining compensation include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.
